Plant progress

4/22/2007 Some new views of the blooming century plants. You can see a couple of the new houses being built on the five acres to the West. Check out the shot of the Broad leaf bloom and the saguaro blooms.( remember to click on the photos to enlarge them).

Ready for sheetrock

The insulation has been installed. I had the walk through last Wednesday to OK the rough electrical and approve all the details of the drawings. We added insulation on the Workshop side of the garage as you can see by the photos. There are two shots inside of the garage and two from different ends of the great room.

Progress

4/12/07 Not much has happened in the last week and a half. No progress on the house in the Springs and no action with the sale of my house up here in the desert. What is making progress are the century plants. The broad leaf out back is branching out and the century plant out front has tripled in length. It's phenomenal to watch this one grow making measurable progress everyday.

Roof almost complete

4/04/07 The tile is about 95% in place. They do not finish the tile around the roof area by the front entryway until the stucco is done in that area. This is to avoid getting stucco on the tile.

3/31/07 The decorative block wall at the front entrance to the house.

Last of the windows

The last window is in place in the great room. There is the long view toward the patio from the rear of the property. That's the tub in the guest bathroom.

Progress on the roof

3/31/07 The tile has been piled on the roof and is now being installed. The trim has been painted around the base of the roof. You can see from the third picture that the foam installation has been completed and the house is now ready for stucco.
