Broad Leaf Mexican Century Plant

This is the first broad leaf century plant in 30 years to bloom since I've lived out here. It started to bloom when I decided to build the new house, maybe as a treat to me.
Who knows!
Let's watch it grow as the house is being built.

Early construction

This is the end of what I call phase one, Early Construction. We are now ready for framing and the beginning of what the house will really begin to look like. I'll call the next phase Intermediate Construction which will include framing, A/C duct work, internal plumbing/piping, Roofing installed and electrical wiring rough in.
I will continue to update the blog and I should get better at composing it.

The pad is now ready for framing. This is a view from the backyard which will be large compared to other lots in the development. Many of the view that you see in most of the pictures will gradually be obscured as more homes are built.
(Remember to click on the photos to see the images enlarged.)
